TLB Interiors

Danville, California

Suzie Baumgartner has been immersed in the interior design industry for many years. She got her start in hospitality design, being employed by a firm in Walnut Creek, CA, that specialized in high-end hotels and restaurants. From there, Suzie’s experience grew and she embarked on a new journey: She founded her own full-service interior design firm in Danville, CA, nine years ago.

Suzie is supported at TLB interiors by two other women. Andrea Garcia, another veteran of the design industry, assists Suzie as a Junior Designer and brings to the table a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from UC Berkeley. Stephanie Weitzel is the busy Project Manager, utilizing her years of experience in corporate finance to keep TLB Interiors organized while simultaneously spreading positive vibes with her energetic personality. Together, the talented trio bring a wide range of design aesthetics to the cities of Danville, Alamo, and Lafayette. Their most popular style request, though, is transitional.

A couple of empty nesters approached TLB Interiors with a request for them to update their home’s worn traditional interior with an elevated transitional styled interior. They wanted to enjoy a fresh space with their family and friends, and TLB Interiors were excited to help! The home itself possessed beautiful, classically designed bones which Suzie and her team wanted to preserve. While the project began with the updating of six bathrooms and a living room redesign, the project quickly grew to a full-scale home remodel.

All the floors in the home were updated, and beautiful hardwood planks were laid to grace the main spaces. Suzie specifically chose a soft, neutral color palette to give the home a timeless quality. A favorite space of Suzie’s was the renovated powder room. With a subtle metallic wallcovering by Thibaut, high-end fixtures, and a high-gloss ceiling, the room practically sparkled when the lights were turned on. Another shining space was the dining room, made so by the graceful Century Furniture dining table, gorgeous Hickory Chair dining chairs, showstopping Currey & Company chandelier, and beautifully textured Thibaut grasscloth wallcovering.

A huge reason why TLB Interiors can deliver such stunning designs is their deep care for their clients and their homes. The empty nesters wanted unique and serene spaces in which they could entertain guests, and TLB Interiors gave them the stylish and comfortable interior of their dreams. The clients were extremely happy with the finished work of Suzie and her team, and now proudly entertain their loved ones in this remarkable home.
