Ranee Gilbert founded Luxury Design and Decor—a full-service interior design firm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee—on the belief that you can have a beautiful home that is also functional. She calls this pursuit “Livable Luxury,” and has proven its success over the last eighteen years which her company has been in business. Her design experience encompasses a broad range of styles from traditional to transitional and even modern. Every space she creates is one of a kind. “I never want someone to walk in a house that I designed and say, ‘I know who your designer is.’”
Ranee’s creative perspective has been groomed for nearly two decades while working under the direction of highly trained and talented designers from different cultures around the world. With this level of experience, she has honed her skills to include a broad range of styles; together with her unmatched attention to detail and her five-star commitment to each project, Ranee has earned a clientele that includes athletes from the NFL (National Football League) as well as the NBA (National Basketball Association), just to name a few.
When a client approaches Ranee for a residential or commercial interior design project, she takes upon herself the responsibility of her client’s happiness in their new space. Because of this, she’s intentional about working with her clients directly, not sending them to communicate only with her assistant or another designer. They get her expertise firsthand. The results of this process are displayed in the spaces designed by Luxury Design and Decor, like this unique home project: The client requested a traditional dining room, but wanted a big splash of color in the living room. While Ranee gave the dining area a traditional aesthetic, the living room received bright wall art, a velvet green couch, and vibrant red pillows.
In another home, the client asked Ranee to give her a bedroom that looked like a room in a high-end hotel but with a few of her personal touches. With the right wallpaper, custom drapes, and custom bedding, Ranee delivered the fancy bedroom of her client’s dreams. In both instances, Ranee of Luxury Design and Decor—along with beautiful window coverings by Cathy Terry of Bellavista Fabrics—delivered spaces that matched what her clients had envisioned for their homes. Because of this, both clients loved Ranee’s designs and were excited to begin using their new spaces every single day.
